Angel Li

Angel is the Founding Partner of Avatar Capital Partners, with extensive investment experience in private equity real estate and special situations. Previously, she served as the Head of Asia at Macquarie Asset Management Real Estate and an Investment Committee Member of its Global Real Estate Fund.

Prior to that, Angel held the position of Head of Portfolio Management and Investment Committee Member at CLSA Real Estate, where she originated and managed US$4.5 billion of real estate investments across the Asia Pacific region.

Angel began her career at Merrill Lynch in the Global Principal Investments Group, where she had in-depth experience in special situations, private credit and event-driven investments, including distressed debt and non-performing loans in Asia. 

Angel holds a Bachelor of Business Degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and is fluent in English, Mandarin and Japanese.
